I'm glad you asked, the cost to you as a producer is important, so let us detail out the costs involved for you, how much the end consumer will save and the benefits for using the HAWSBY model to sell your products in the UK.
Establishing any product in the UK required investment, whether with trade shows, travel or events, with HAWSBY, the costs lead to a real sales platform and network.
Getting your products ready to sell in the UK isn't easy, but we make the process simple and effective for you.
Step 1 - Testing Your Products
We'll evaluate your products for the UK market for free, understanding where best to position them in the Trade Buyer sector, including potential on-trade and off-trade locations.
Step 2 - Product Listing
Whether you're able to sell direct to UK consumers or are seeking trade importers distributors, it's important to be listed on Hawsby. Each product will be listed on our online sales platform - Hawsby.com - ensuring your receive your full price.
A small admin fee of £350 per product will be charged to list your product on the HAWSBY website. This includes the listing of your product and a targeted outreach and online promotion to our community.
Depending on your requests, once your product is available for sale, we'll ensure to direct either consumers or trade buyers to your listing.
Our trade buyer network consists of over 4,000 trade buyer professionals all actively seeking new products, better quality and reduced prices, that's almost 50% of the trade buyer market. When it comes to consumers, you can reach over 100,000 buyers, through our outreach methods, including newsletters, social media, partners, online website and promoted outreach.
Step 3 (Only applicable if your products are within the Beverage category and not already present in the UK market) - Storage
After we've listed your products, it is time to arrange the delivery of your beverage stock to LCB (London City Bond) where they will sit in the UK, without having to pay all the duties and taxes. This allows us to begin selling your products to trade and consumers, where the final sale price we set accommodates all necessary fees.
LCB (London City Bond) has different fees depending on your country of origin and products. Below is an estimate calculation of the costs, based on the minimum fees for 1 palate. (Don't worry if your country isn't listed, simply message us and we'll let you know - info@hawsby.com)

Other fees to consider:
Clearance - starting from £65
Storage - £80 minimum monthly charge for storage
Take In Charge - £0.82 for 6 bottles - £1.65 for 12 bottles (one off payment)
Storage Fee - £0.18 for 6 bottles per week (minimum 12 bottles)?
Stocking Fee - £1.08 per box (6 bottles)
Handling Fee: when shipping bottles to the final end UK customer a £0.30 fee applies per bottle
